Attributed to the Ahmad workshop of Isfahan, circa 1920, this rug follows a classical plan: a layered medallion with pendants, matching corner spandrels and a densely scrolling field of palmettes and blossoms. A wide border of rosette cartouches frames the composition with measured balance.
