Kashan Red Medallion Rug

Geschichte

Ein gewebtes Kunstwerk

Kashan weavers set the standard for the formal medallion carpet, and this piece shows why. The drawing is crisp and unhurried, the colour clear against the dark ground. A textbook example of the type — the kind of rug that anchors a room without competing with it.
